Med-tech company PolarCool AB (publ.) announces that it has extended its agreement with Ystads IF Handball for the use of PolarCap® for an additional 1 year. The club has successfully integrated treatment with PolarCap® into its concussion management routines over the past four seasons.

PolarCool develops and markets PolarCap®, a medical device that enhances recovery following a concussion through controlled cooling treatment. The product is primarily used in sports with an elevated risk of head injuries, such as ice hockey, rugby, football, and handball.

PolarCool CEO Erik Andersson comments:
