(update: information on paying customers and the focus for the autumn)The software company Hoodin is launching the Collaboration feature in Compliance Studio, according to a press release. The feature enables regulatory teams to collaborate directly within the platform and will be available for both free and paid subscriptions.Compliance Studio has approximately 500 registered user accounts. Hoodin says that the focus is now gradually shifting toward increased usage within customer organizations and more recurring revenue.Hoodin CEO Marcus Emne tells Finwire that Compliance Studio currently has five paying customers. In addition, the company has 12 existing customers on its older platform, which Hoodin intends to convert to Compliance Studio over time.According to Emne, the approximately 500 registered accounts still mainly consist of users of the free version. The company is now focused on increasing usage within organizations that already use the platform and gradually converting this into paying Regulatory Positions.During the autumn, Hoodin will focus, among other things, on increasing activation within the existing user base, further developing the product based on user feedback, and creating more paths from free usage to paying Regulatory Positions. The company’s revenue model is based on the number of Regulatory Positions and not on the number of users.
