Washing robot company Aerowash says that IAG will not sign the planned delivery agreement for washing robots to British Airways at Heathrow. The decision is linked to rising aviation fuel prices and strained investment budgets. "It is of course a major disappointment that this agreement cannot be completed at present. At the same time, the process has demonstrated our competitiveness and given us valuable experience," says Niklas Adler, CEO of Aerowash, in a comment. IAG is said to be open to new discussions if the conditions change. At the same time, Aerowash is continuing its expansion into areas including trains and buses. In aviation, Aerowash is focusing particularly on Asia and North America. No financial details were provided.
