The energy company Suntrade Group announces that the battery facility in Marmaverken in Söderhamn Municipality is now being put into operation. The facility comprises 1 MW of power and 2 MWh of energy storage and is to provide ancillary services and flexibility to the Swedish power grid.The facility is grid-connected and will gradually become operational and revenue-generating as different ancillary services are validated by Svenska kraftnät. According to the company, the facility is expected to generate approximately SEK 2 million in annual revenue.
