(update in the last paragraph - concerns the annual report)The solar energy company Absolicon reported lower revenue and a continued loss for the first quarter of 2026, compared with the same period last year.Net sales amounted to SEK 87,000, compared with SEK 109,000 the year before.Ebitda was SEK -2.6 million (-2.8).Operating profit improved to SEK -3.4 million (-3.7), while net profit improved to SEK -3.5 million (-3.7). Earnings per share amounted to SEK -0.43 (-0.46).During the quarter, the company decided on a rights issue of about SEK 13 million with an oversubscription option of about SEK 5 million. After the end of the period, it was announced that the issue was subscribed to 286 percent and brought the company about SEK 16.7 million after issue costs."The capital will mainly be used for sales efforts. Preparations are now underway for our Spanish sales company and a larger marketing campaign in Spain," says CEO Joakim Byström.Byström also says that the company is focusing on business opportunities linked to the EU's upcoming heat auctions."The goal is to work with customers to develop competitive projects for future heat auctions in the EU," the report says.The northern Swedish solar heating company is also adjusting its result for 2025 in connection with the work on the annual report. The company is writing down the deferred tax asset by about SEK 15.1 million and has also identified an erroneous booking that affects earnings negatively by about SEK 0.6 million. The total impact on profit amounts to about SEK -15.7 million.For the full year 2025, operating profit is changed to SEK -14.8 million from the previous SEK -14.3 million, while profit for the year is adjusted to SEK -29.6 million from SEK -13.9 million.
