The solar energy company Absolicon has decided on a rights issue of approximately SEK 13 million with an overallotment option of approximately SEK 5 million. The subscription price is SEK 3.25 per share and full subscription yields approximately SEK 12.4 million after costs. Vd Joakim Byström has provided a subscription commitment of approximately SEK 1 million, corresponding to 7.6 percent of the issue. Two shares give one subscription right and one subscription right gives the right to subscribe for one new share. The proceeds will strengthen working capital and be used to accelerate sales, with a particular focus on Spain. The company estimates the capital requirement at approximately SEK 6.5 million over the next 12 months. The issue has no external underwriting commitments."With our experience of replacing heat from gas boilers with solar heat, we will approach 200 selected industrial companies in Spain. Together with them we will create winning bids in the heat auction. To be able to provide a complete offering, Absolicon in Spain, in addition to our concentrating solar collectors, will also offer complementary heat technology such as electric boilers and heat pumps," says Byström in a comment. The last day for trading including subscription rights is April 9. The share trades ex-rights from April 10 and the record date is April 13. Trading in subscription rights takes place April 15–24 and the subscription period runs April 15–29, 2026.
