The commodity company Nidhogg Resources has received notice of precautionary measures from Falu kommun, which enables continued planning ahead of the start of operations in Vintjärn.The company is now moving forward with the establishment of a crushing plant and infrastructure, with a preliminary start of operations in the third quarter of 2026. The project involves crushing and reprocessing of historically stockpiled mine material. The mine closed in 1978.
