The medical technology company Polarcool has entered into an agreement with the Liiga club Ilves for the use of Polarcap in the acute treatment of concussions. This means the company is collaborating with three of the league's 16 teams, previously Rauman Lukko and KalPa. Polarcool states that it has a strong position in European professional hockey with club partnerships in major leagues as well as an agreement in the Czech Republic that gives the entire top division access to Polarcap.
